Good morning. The King's School and the Highfield Preschool will be OPEN today. I would recommend that you avoid Cooters End Lane and Hillside Road. Please drive with caution on the stretch of Ambrose Lane between the Spire Hospital and the school, as this has not been gritted. The driveway and parking area have been cleared to some extent, but I request that you drive very carefully on the school site.

There is still a lot of snow on site, and pupils should wear sensible footware for the conditions. Please note that Ugh Boots (other brands are available!) and knitted boots, while fashionable, are NOT suitable for wet and snowy conditions. Please make sure that pupils wear their coats.

The football tournament for the girls, planned for this afternoon, has been called off. We have not yet made a decision about the Year 10 Parent Consultation Evening planned for tonight, but will inform pupils, by the end off the school day, as to what will be happening.
